What is the Cinematic Landscape?
The idea of the Cinematic Landscape really comes from a combination of my love of both Cinema and Landscape Painting, each of which envelopes the viewer in a rich experience of a sense of place, which we then embellish within our own imagination.
I have dedicated my life to creating these paintings, sometimes spending up to two years on each piece! And this exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for me to share my passion with you so that you can connect deeply with nature in all her moods, from the most relaxing feelings of peace & reflection, to those powerful, heart-stirring moments of drama & wonder.
What is a Virtual Gallery Tour?
I will personally lead you on a 30-minute Video Tour through this exclusive Virtual Exhibition, introducing you to 9 Breath-taking Landscape Paintings, each patiently created over several months using oil on canvas & flax.
Each landscape painting evokes deep emotions… it might be that sense of excitement & anticipation as a storm races towards you across the valley…
Or perhaps you prefer the serene calm of a lazy mid-summer’s day, as the sun sets behind a glowing horizon of pastel clouds…
How does a Virtual Exhibition work?
Once purchased, you’ll be able to view your Virtual Exhibition on your Smartphone, Desktop Computer, or VR Headset.

My Journey to Landscape Painting
Growing up in rural North-Dorset, the countryside quickly became my playground and teacher, and as a young boy I began to express my insights through ‘en plein-air’ painting, sat at my easel… while my father sat across the field with his own canvas.
It’s hard to imagine now, but I grew up without a television, computer, or smartphone, and this gives me a unique lens through which I can explore these deeply emotional landscapes, blending the romance of my imagination with vivid, private moments of reflection, which I can now share through my art.
