About Me
Exploring. Becoming. Being
Art That Reflects Your Soul
Do you long for a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you? For those fleeting moments of serenity and wonder, where the noise of life quiets, and you feel truly alive?
This is the experience I’ve discovered through my art - and it’s one I can now offer to you.
Nature, Imagination & Dreams
Growing up in the rolling hills of Dorset, surrounded by ancient woodlands & vast skies, I found my sanctuary in Nature. It became more than a source of beauty - it was a mirror to my own longing for peace, authenticity, and balance.
When I paint, I step into a world where nature & imagination unite - a world that feels timeless yet intensely personal. My collectors share that my work offers them this same connection: a quiet space to reflect, dream, and feel truly at home.
An Invitation to Reconnect
I understand the yearning for something more - a connection to your true self, a moment of calm amid the chaos, and a daily reminder of life’s beauty.
Through my paintings, I invite you to:
Reconnect with the serenity of Nature.
Create a home that inspires & uplifts you.
Experience art that reflects your inner beauty & aspirations.
A Young Artist’s Beginnings
I first learned to paint outdoors with my father. At school, art trips across Europe introduced me to the great museums & galleries, igniting my passion for the history of art. The more I explored, the clearer my purpose became - to capture the allure of nature through my own unique vision.
Discovering My Own Voice
My journey wasn’t without challenges. I clashed with art teachers who didn’t understand my perspective, but these experiences taught me to trust my inner voice and forge my own path.
After studying in Bournemouth and Farnham, I moved to London at 21, determined to immerse myself in the art world. I explored figurative painting, but my search for a truly original voice pushed me further.
My Journey to the Cinematic Landscape
A Pivotal Shift in Perspective
A transformative moment came when an exhibition challenged everything I thought I knew about art. It led me to Abstraction and fundamentally reshaped my approach - not just in abstract painting, but in my figurative and landscape work, too.
London gave me opportunities to exhibit and develop my craft, but its relentless pace left me yearning for something deeper.
Returning to My Roots
A chance visit to a friend’s birthday in Devon rekindled my connection to Nature, leading me back to Dorset. Setting up my studio in Bridport, I found inspiration in the untouched landscapes & nurturing power of the countryside.
Creating Art That Resonates
It was here that my vision for The Cinematic Landscape was born - a way of painting that transforms fleeting memories & emotions into tangible, lasting works of art.
Transforming Homes & Hearts
Collectors often tell me my paintings become the emotional centrepiece of their homes. They speak of finding peace, inspiration, and even a sense of companionship in my work. My art is more than decoration - it’s a sanctuary, a daily reminder of the beauty & wonder around them.
Let’s Begin Your Journey!
I believe art has the power to transform not just our homes, but our lives too. It bridges the gap between what we long for and what we already hold within us.
Whether you’re seeking an affordable print, an original painting, or a bespoke commission, my work is designed to inspire and elevate.
