Commissions

Feel Inspired Every Day!

Welcome

Commissioning a painting should be a wonderful & rewarding experience, both for the buyer and the artist!

It begins with a simple but meaningful conversation - one where we explore what moves you about my art, the landscapes that resonate with your soul, and the emotions you wish me to capture in your unique piece.

How do you want your painting to make you feel? It all starts with a conversation…

My work draws from the timeless beauty of nature… those fleeting moments when light dances across the land, illuminating those extraordinary yet ephemeral moments of awe… that we all experience, but few are able to do justice to, in paint.

These are the moments I strive to preserve in my art - moments of stillness, wonder, and connection that transport you to a place of calm & inspiration every time you look at them.

Together, we’ll uncover the vision for your bespoke artwork, so that it becomes a piece that is both a window to the natural world… as well as a reflection of your own story & memories.

Through our collaboration, I’ll weave your personal connection with nature into a painting that is as much yours as it is mine - rooted in authenticity, emotion & beauty!

Why Commision My Art?

My paintings are not merely depictions of landscapes; they are emotional experiences captured on canvas.

Each brushstroke is infused with the light, energy, and atmosphere of the countryside that I’ve cherished my entire life.

When you commission a painting, you’re not just acquiring art - you’re inviting a piece of the natural world into your space, one that transforms & uplifts you every time you see it.

Your Journey Begins Here

To start this incredible journey, I invite you to send me a few details of what you’re looking for.

This will be the start of a conversation where we’ll discuss your vision, explore ideas, and begin to shape an artwork that speaks to your heart.

Whether it’s the misty hues of a favorite hillside, the glow of a golden sunset, or the drama of a storm rolling in, I’ll capture the essence of what moves you most.

As one client shared, “your work is full of light, depth, and emotion - it’s art that transforms.”

If you’re ready to bring the beauty & serenity of nature into your home, I’d be honored to create a painting just for you. Let’s begin this journey together and create something that will inspire & resonate with you for many years to come.

Some Previous Commissions

January on Eggardon Hill

100x40cm, oil on canvas

Private Collection in Yorkshire

This commission was about an uplifting feeling of being in the countryside, with just a glipse of the sea. While it might be a chilly January day, the sky is warm with the dazzling light of the evening sun.

Eggardon Meditation

120x40cm, oil on canvas

Private Collection in Oxford

This commission was inspired by my Mid-Summer Eggardon paintings, and we wanted to avoid any distractions, focusing purely on the soft gradation of colour & light in the sky.

Mid-Summer on Eggardon Hill

180x60cm, oil on canvas

Storms over Eggardon Hill

This commission was inspired by my Stormy Eggardon series of paintings and was created for the buyers ‘snug’ where they could imagine the storms outside while feeling warm & comfortable at home.

Storms over Eggardon Hill

Private Collection in Marshwood

Another painting in the home of my Marshwood buyer, this stormy painting has an energy & sense of drama that she wanted to upift her living space.

Orange sunset over Colmers Hill

162x40cm, oil on flax

Private Collection in Norfolk

This couple came to visit my Gallery and I took them to my studio, where this painting ‘jumped out’ at them. I always find it fascinating how the palette in my paintings will often be reflected in the homes & clothing of my buyers!
